and places as described at DMR.

SO! Skiers and Boarders: ski or board with a group at your level throughout the ski season at Durango Mountain Resort.  All abilities are welcome.

On various days throughout the season, group leaders will email you on meeting days, start times and desired skill level, from which you can signup to meet the group at the base, just uphill from the electronic trail sign in front of Purgy's.  To receive these emails, the ski-coordinators need your email, land line and cell telephone numbers.  For more information or to get on the email list, contact SO! downhill ski group co-coordinators Bruce Rodman at BERodman@gmail.com or 970-385-7899, or Jim Shadid at 970-884-4612.

On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays beginning when snow conditions permit, John Montle invites you to join him and a group of intermediate skiers interested primarily in groomed slopes. Meeting time is shortly before 9:00 or 9:30 a.m. just outside the lift line ropes at the base of Lift 1 (the six pack lift.)  To join this group, contact John at 970-769-6108 or mntnlvr@frontier.net.  Back up group leader is Betsy Petersen, 970-259-5417 or betsyp@bresnan.net.  John or Betsy will email cancellations only when a leader will not be present as expected.

Lunch: All groups usually meet around 12 noon on the 2nd floor (bar level) at Dante’s when it is open.

Season Start:  We have listed the start as November 25, but check the DMR web site for actual opening date.
